What You’ll Do:
Move materials to and from your work area
Help build and finish products by:
Assembling parts
Buffing or smoothing surfaces
Gluing or repairing pieces
Cutting materials to size
Sewing, marking, or applying coatings
Use tools like tape measures, scissors, spray guns, hand saws, buffers, and pallet jacks
Once trained, you may also use machines like slitters, band saws, die cutters, sewing machines, and contour cutters
Load and unload light materials into machines
Trim off extra pieces (“flash”) from molded products
Inspect finished products quickly and carefully
Package products and label them correctly
Record how many products you package each day
Fill out simple forms to track productionKeep your work area clean and organized
Do other tasks as assigned by your supervisor

Someone who follows instructions and safety rules
Able to stand, move, and work with their hands for most of the day
Pays attention to details and can keep track of counts and simple paperwork
Open to learning new tasks and working with machines
